WCU-Orange County Celebrates Pinning 60 BSN Grads

On April 20, West Coast University-Orange County celebrated the pinning of more than 60 bachelor of science graduates at Cerritos East Park.

The event began with a welcoming message from WCU Nursing Dean Robyn Nelson.

“Welcome to the families, friends, faculty and associates in attendance,” she said. “And congratulations to our graduating cohort; we are all very proud to see you sitting here today.”

As the pinning ceremony began, graduating students happily crossed the stage in front of their friends and family to receive their pins and lanterns, which signifies the completion of their nursing program.

After the ceremony, graduates recited the nursing pledge, vowing to always care for all patients to the best of their ability.

“I promise to provide care with all the skill and understanding I possess, without regard to race, creed, color, politics or social status, sparing no effort to conserve life, to alleviate suffering and to promote health,” the graduates recited in unison.

Congratulations to the Class of 2018! You can view the full pinning album on our Facebook page.
