WCU Alumni Spotlight: Shanna Jackson

After receiving her BSN from West Coast University, Shanna Jackson made a goal to get her masters and WCU’s Online Family Nurse Practitioner program made that goal possible.

“The best part of the online program is the flexibility,” she said. “I have two little boys and I also work full-time so being able to attend my kids’ baseball games, work and go to school at the same time is awesome.”

Now as a proud alumna, Jackson encourages all alumni to join the WCU Alumni Network.

“It’s so important to stay in touch with your school. There are so many benefits,” Jackson said. “You can stay up-to-date on what’s going on, give back and help those coming into their program and network with people who have the same degree as you and even some in different programs as well.”
