Congratulations to West Coast University master of science in occupational therapy graduates who celebrated their hooding ceremony on Dec. 2. Graduate Hannah Lee received the Academic Excellence Award for earning the highest GPA of her cohort.
WCU MSOT graduate Shari Poindexter shared, “I feel like the MSOT program has prepared me well to work in clinics and community-based practice.” She added, “I feel it was an excellent education. The faculty gave so much of their expertise and education to help us love and understand occupational therapy and it’s importance.” Pointdexter will be attending University of Southern California in 2017 for their occupational therapy doctorate (OTD) program.
MSOT graduate Oladapo Amoran shared the following advice with her fellow classmates: “Always believe in yourself, work hard and always be kind and loving to your patients.” She added “I’m grateful to West Coast University, I learned a lot and am ready to be a leader in my profession.”
