On Oct. 7, West Coast University-Miami hosted the Doral Pro Health event on campus. Health fair attendees had the opportunity to meet with healthcare professionals in the medical, dental and allied health fields to learn about preventative methods, receive treatment and discuss primary care options.
WCU-Miami executive director Dr. Joshua Padron said about 10 WCU students and staff volunteered part of their weekend to help perform blood pressure checks and other duties.
“It was a great opportunity for our campus, associates and students to give back to their community,” Padron said.
