West Coast University-Miami celebrated their inaugural cohort’s pinning in October. The first six graduates of WCU-Miami are now offically registered nurses as each of the inaugural cohort has passed their NCLEX, according to the Florida Board of Nursing, who posted on their website a 100% pass rate for the Q4 2016 cohort. Congratulations to our graduates!
“We are so proud of our graduates and their hard work and committment during the past three years,” WCU-Miami Executive Director Joshua Padron shared. “Our faculty, associates and students are incredibly committed to serving their community and I know each of our graduates will serve their community well as nurses.”
WCU-Miami Dean of Nursing Claudette Spalding shared her pride for the graduates, saying, “We are very proud of the Miami campus’ inaugural BSN Class of 2016. We congratulate them on their achievements and send best wishes for a meaningful and rewarding nursing career!”
WCU Dean of Nursing Robyn Nelson was on hand to celebrate with the Miami cohort as well. “These graduates are the future of healthcare, and it was a privilege to welcome them as colleagues!”
