WCU-Miami Celebrates 26 New Nurses at Pinning Ceremony

The friends and family of 26 West Coast University nursing graduates filled The Graham Center auditorium in Miami on March 30, eagerly awaiting the pinning ceremony of their loved ones.

The ceremony began with a welcoming statement from WCU-Miami Executive Director Dr. Joshua Padron.

“A special thank you to the families, friends, faculty, and associates in attendance,” Padron said. “Without your dedication to our students, today would not be possible.”

Following remarks from WCU faculty Arvinder Singh and class speakers Melody Almonte and Caroline Martinez, the graduates lined up to receive their pin and take the nursing pledge.

The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from WCU-Miami Dean of Nursing Dr. Claudette Spalding. Congratulations to Cohort Nine!
