The friends and family of 30 West Coast University-Miami BSN graduates filled the Graham Center Ballroom on October 26.
WCU-Miami Executive Director Joshua Padron welcomed the audience and thanked them for their support of the graduates.
“Welcome to all the families, friends, faculty and associates in attendance today,” he said. “Without your dedication and support to our students, today would not be possible.”
Student speaker Leslie Gonzalez took the stage to thank her cohort for their constant support and the WCU-Miami faculty for always making time to be there for every student in the cohort.
“To my cohort, thank you for always being there during the breakdowns and the triumphs,” she said. “And thank you to the faculty for all your support. You have been instrumental in our success throughout this program. We cannot thank you enough.”
Following Gonzalez’s speech, the graduates lined up to receive their pins and lanterns. Once every graduate had been pinned they took the nursing pledge, swearing to always provide and care for each patient.
Congratulations to Cohort 12! You can view photos from the event on our Facebook page.
