Harry Yoo dreamt of becoming a nurse when his father was hospitalized after heart surgery.
“My father had a coronary artery bypass surgery and the nurses there were just so caring and attentive to him while he was in ICU,” Yoo said. “That’s mainly why I found an affinity towards cardiovascular disease and the ICU.”
After graduating from West Coast University, Yoo is now a registered nurse and helping people every day in his local community.
“It puts you on your heels the whole time you’re here, but when you’re done, you feel very accomplished and you feel like you could take on anything,” he said.
