West Coast University professor Ann McDonald is going to need a bigger business card.
McDonald, an associate professor of occupational therapy at WCU’s Center of Graduate Studies, was recently elected to chair the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy’s ethics commission.
Additionally, in September, McDonald was nominated to be the OT State Association speaker for the annual “Tea with a Scholar” at the University of Southern California’s Center for Lifestyle Redesign and Occupational Therapy.
McDonald also completed a year-long research program at Harvard University in June 2016. Called Global Clinical Scholars Research Training (GCSRT), the program is for doctors and allied health practitioners.
“I can proudly say I am a Harvard alumnus,” McDonald said. “This training has truly helped me in teaching research to our current MSOT students and to our eventual doctor of occupational therapy students.”
