WCU Alumni Spotlight: Esther Thomas

Growing up in Africa, Esther Thomas lived a tough life. It’s why she’s so passionate about helping the less fortunate. After a life spent helping and caring for others, Thomas looked into a career in nursing.

“I was already volunteering in different places with homeless people,” Thomas said. “I went to Haiti during the earthquake and Rwanda during the genocide. I knew that if I had more education in medicine, I would be able to help better.”

For Thomas, deciding to come to West Coast University-Miami was the best decision she could have made and she looks forward to continuing to help her local and global community.

“I was happy that I came to school because West Coast University prepares its students,” she said.
