On Aug. 1, West Coast University-Miami opened its doors to share more about WCU’s offerings and connect with the Doral community. After the information sessions, four students enrolled and 10 more were scheduled for the admissions exam.
The open house also featured guest speaker Angel Grant, a certified fitness and wellness instructor and singer who demonstrated the effects of sound healing. Clear Channel radio personality “Papa Keith” played music and gave away prizes to attendees.
Launched in late 2014, Miami is West Coast University’s newest campus. Housed in a five-story glass building, the 46,000-square-foot Miami campus provides students with computer labs, Internet stations, nursing skills labs, science labs, a student break room adjacent to a large student quad area, student study areas and computer stations within the Library, and a student meeting room.
