West Coast University’s Jennyfer Oh Wins PT Scholarship

A West Coast University doctoral candidate is among six students nationwide to win a conference scholarship for physical therapy students, Kaiser Permanente announced recently.

Jennifer Oh, a doctor of physical therapy student at WCU’s Center for Graduate Studies, will join the five other recipients at the American Physical Therapy Association’s 2017 Combined Sections Meeting in San Antonio, Texas this February.

The other awardees are Anne Gross, Duke University; Lily Jimenez, University of Texas-El Paso; Rachel Lewin, Bellarmine University; Taylor Lunsford, Hardin-Simmons University; and Brianna Stewart, University of Utah.

The conference scholarships cover the students’ conference registration and provide $500 for travel, lodging and meal expenses. It was sponsored by the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency, the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency, and Kaiser Permanente Northern California Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship.
