On Nov. 15, more than 55 new nurses celebrated their graduation at the West Coast University-Dallas commencement.
WCU Provost Dr. Jeb Egbert began the ceremony by offering a moment of silence for the Paris terror victims. Egbert reminded the assembly that WCU prepares graduates for “compassionate” professions, and that it would likely be “nurses just like them” who were attending to the injured in the wake of the terrorist attacks.
Commencement speaker Dr. Dana Roberson shared to the graduates her words on choosing their life path.
“I thought our guest speaker, Dr. Dana Roberson, did a great job in her presentation regarding how to choose the right path in life,” Egbert said. “She noted that it is not always about selecting a singular path, but rather the path that aligns with seasons in life.”
After the commencement ceremony, Egbert said it was great to see administration, faculty, graduates, and families and friends gather for a reception.
Congratulations West Coast University-Dallas graduates!
