West Coast University is pleased to announced that Julie France, MSN/Ed., RN, has accepted the director of nursing position for the Orange County campus.
France has been with WCU for more than six years working in University Relations. During this tenure she has held positions of clinical relations manager and clinical development director, and helped with the development of the online clinical team and the implementation of American Databank for all student clinical requirements.
“Julie has developed strong clinical partner relationships over the years and led the campus clinical teams in meeting growth needs as our campus student populations increase,” the WCU Provost said. “I look forward to her using her unique ability to work across departments and campuses to develop collaborative solutions.”
France serves on the interprofessional education and nursing leadership councils and has participated in the WASC and BRN accreditation visits. She was appointed to the Beverly Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and currently serves as president of the Chi Beta chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing. France has also helped foster strong relationships between WCU and organizations like Special Olympics of Southern California and Project Access Resource Center.
