Over 160 WCU-Orange County Students, Graduates Turn Out For Fall Career Fair in Anaheim

West Coast University-Orange County hosted its annual fall career fair for students and alumni this September. More than 20 employers came from all over the county to speak to over 160 WCU students and alumni about volunteer opportunities and details on upcoming New RN Residency programs and job openings.

WCU-Orange County Career Services director Ann Marie Rivera encouraged all students and alumni to attend career fairs.

“It is important for current students and graduates to attend our career fairs because it gives them a great opportunity to network with recruiters and nursing managers,” she said. “Our employer partners provide excellent advice to our current students on what they can do now to become more marketable after completing the program.”

Students who weren’t currently looking for jobs were able to explore the career fair, network and meet potential future employers or clinical sites. The Alumni Network also held a pop-up at the event collecting donations for the alumni scholarship fund.

Rivera wanted students to know that it’s never too early to start working with the Career Services team on each campus.

“Students should start connecting with us as soon as possible so we can start working on their career plan,” she said.
