WCU-Ontario Encourages Students to Go Green In August

Students at West Coast Univesity-Ontario had their own version of going green at the recent NCLEX Green Light event.

The “Get the Green Light” event focused on bringing current students, especially those graduating in August, together to learn about the WCU Alumni network, VATI and incentives for getting their Green Light.

“The event was a lively affair with green treats, Green Light pins, green decorations and students and faculty wearing green to promote getting the Green Light,” WCU-Ontario Career Services director Michelle Meitner said.

The campus testing coordinator and nursing academic dean were both present to answer specific questions about the VATI process. Students who particiated in the event were eligible to spin a prize wheel to win items including Starbucks gift cards, WCU gear and WCU alumi prizes.
