WCU-Ontario BSN Students Celebrate March 2016 Pinning

More than 50 grads from West Coast University-Ontario braved some especially bad weather to attend their pinning ceremony on March 11.

Held at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center in Rancho Cucamonga, the 56 BSN graduates took part in the celebration by receiving their WCU nursing pins and reciting the Nurse’s Pledge, the same oath taken by most nurses since the late 19th century.

“I love seeing our students at pinning, as they take on the official responsibility of a nurse and take an oath to uphold the standards and values of the nursing pledge. This pinning was especially meaningful because so many of these students had already passed the NCLEX and already received job offers,” WCU-Ontario Career Services Director Jonathan Langley said.

Congratulations, WCU-Ontario graduates!
