Students were treated to coffee and snacks while being encouraged to sign up for the event on June 26, which will offer a WCU alumni panel, professional nurse speakers and more than 15 exhibitors.

At the event kickoff, Career Services staff were on hand to discuss keynote speaker Jerome Dayao, the chief nursing officer at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and featured WCU alumni Andrew Tran, who works as a flight nurse with Mercy Air.

“Everyone is really curious about the helicopter flyby that is planned for the event,” WCU-Ontario Career Services Director Michelle Meitner said.

The American Association for Men in Nursing-Ontario chapter hosted a table to celebrate its launch and their first upcoming meeting on June 20. AAMN members and faculty advisor Edmund Alfonso also got a chance to show off their new black pullovers.

“There will be a lot of great information and resources made available and we hope to see you at ‘Men in Nursing’ on June 26,” Meitner said
