Nearly 140 alumni and future alumni from West Coast University-Miami networked with some of the major hospital systems in South Florida this May at the Spring Career Fair.
WCU-Miami Career Services director Georgeta Railic said 11 employer partners were on-hand to speak with the 115 WCU-Miami students and 22 alumni that came by to learn about graduate positions available at the employer’s location. Organizations at the event included Tenet Health System, HCA Health System, Miami Jewish Health System, Holy Cross Hospital, Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care and PushHard CPR, Railic said.
“Students also had the opportunity to network with alumni and hiring partners, apply for healthcare related positions and get important information pertaining to volunteer opportunities and industry-related certificates,” she said. “Some of them even got job offers on the spot.”
