West Coast University-Dallas held a Nursing Specialty Showcase on July 16 as a way to introduce students to the different fields of nursing and get a better understanding of where their interest lie.
WCU-Dallas alumna Lindsay Daniel came back to her old stomping grounds, excited to advise current students and give them words of encouragement.
“It feels weird to walk in, knowing that I’m not going to class and that I’m an alumna now, but it’s also very rewarding,” Daniel said. “I love being able to speak to future nurses, discuss what I went through while going to school, and give them hope and let them know that it gets better and it’s worth it.”
