WCU-Dallas Students Talk With Girl Scouts About ‘Healthy Friendships’ at Young Women’s Leadership Academy

In collaboration with the Girls Scouts of America, six West Coast University-Dallas students participated in a “Three Pillars Conference” at the Young Women’s Leadership Academy in November.

The WCU-Dallas students presented and interacted with more than 40 high school students on “healthy friendships,” and discussed topics such as bullying, coping with stress, peer pressure and mental health.

At the event, WCU-Dallas campus leadership engaged with the chief operations officer of Girls Scout of America, Ken Anderson, who is interested in collaborating with WCU-Dallas in the future to expose young women to nursing careers and the healthcare industry.
