In conjunction with National Children’s Dental Health Month, West Coast University Dental Hygiene students held a free Smile Camp to “Defeat Monster Mouth” last Saturday Feb. 21.
“Children’s teeth are meant to last a lifetime, and a healthy smile is important to a child’s self-esteem,” said Jo Anne Schram, the clinic administrator for WCU’s Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program. “With proper care, a balanced diet and regular dental visits, their teeth can remain healthy and strong.”
