West Coast University’s School of Pharmacy is proud to announce it has been granted a four-year accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
“This is a fantastic outcome and a wonderful reflection of everyone’s dedication and hard work over the last 12 months,” WCU School of Pharmacy Dean Karen Hassell, PhD said.
WCU’s accreditation extends until June 2024.
WCU’s four-year School of Pharmacy doctorate program is a combination of enhanced communication and teamwork skills, advanced technology, interprofessional education and an integrated curriculum designed to educate and train flexible, inspired and team-oriented pharmacists that improve patients’ lives.
ACPE is recognized by the US Department on Education as the national agency for the accreditation of professional degree programs in pharmacy. The purposes of the ACPE Continuing Education Provider Accreditation Program are to “assure and advance the quality of continuing pharmacy education, thereby assisting in the advancement of the practice of pharmacy.”
