Career Advice for Students and New Grads

West Coast University organized two separate Career Fairs, one in Orange County March 11 and the other in Ontario on March 12, where they were able to interact with health care employers and learn the skills and experience they will need to start their careers.

Several hundred students attended the events. Employers and Career Services representatives advised the students to take advantage of WCU’s services where they can get help with resume preparation and interview skills. They also counseled the students and graduates to be open-minded when it comes to healthcare careers, not to give up and to seek professional certifications that will help them stand out among other job candidates.
