WCU-Ontario Holds ‘Stress Release Day’ After Midterms

More than 200 West Coast University-Ontario students stopped by the lobby on Stress Release Day to refuel and reset after midterms this July.

WCU-Ontario Student Services Director Jonathan Langley and his staff provided healthy snacks, including granola, fruit and green tea to help students unwind and relax after potentially stressful exams.

“We thought it’d be helpful to get the students into a new frame of mind after midterms and the students really responded well,” Langley said.

As an added perk, massage therapy students from nearby American Career College-Ontario were on-hand to offer free chair massages to about 40 BSN students.

“Everyone really appreciated the massage therapy students coming over. The students said the massages were excellent,” Langley said. “They would have even paid for them.”
