When asked what made her choose West Coast University-Miami for her nursing degree, alumna Leslie G. has a simple answer: “It was the simulation lab.”
The technologically advanced simulation labs at WCU are equipped with high-fidelity manikins that react like real patients. Their pupils dilate. They can cry, sweat, and crash. They can even give birth!
“What I love the most about the simulation lab is the real-world situations that the teachers can mimic,” Leslie said of her time studying at WCU. The simulation labs are designed to help you practice through a variety of scenarios, including pediatrics, obstetrics, and more. “I feel like they were really invested in my success as a student.”
