The West Coast University-Los Angeles campus held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated library this January.
Now nearly double the size prior to renovations, the library has added three new group study rooms, new computers and additional individual study spaces.
“Groups of two or more can reserve the study rooms up to seven days in advance, a feature that has been met with overwhelming positivity and excitement,” WCU-Los Angeles librarian Julie Oshiro said.
Besides books, the library also houses the Peer Assisted Learning (PALs) program for tutors and mentors. Oshrio said the three senior PALs coordinators had the honor of cutting the ribbon and making the library’s grand re-opening official.
