Student Affairs Hands Out 1,200 Cookies at WCU-LA

Everyone knows a cookie can help you get through tough times.

That’s why the Student Affairs staff in late August gave out 1,200 Mrs. Fields cookies to help West Coast University-Los Angeles students get past Week 8 of their term.

“The team handed out a total of 1,100 cookies from Tuesday to Thursday,” WCU-LA Student Affairs Director Anthony Stein said. “Students received a message on each cookie stating, ‘We appreciate you and we care about your success.'”

On Friday, the remaining cookies were handed out to all on-campus students.

“We had a chance to talk individually with students to see how they were feeling about their final exams and remind them of our Academic Support Services,” Stein said.
