WCU-Dallas Blood Drive Outdraws Previous Year’s Total

Posted on 03/21/2019

This March, West Coast University-Dallas held its second blood drive and collected more than 30 units.

WCU-Dallas Student Success Coordinator Myron Johnson said he was very happy with the donor turnout and grateful for their generosity. The American Red Cross group collected 34 units of blood during the drive and had 44 donors sign up, he added.

"The event topped last year's in blood collected and we couldn't be more excited," Johnson said. "The campus is looking forward to hosting more events, and giving students many opportunities to save lives and give back to the community!"
