800 Graduates Attend 2017 WCU Spring Commencement

Posted on 05/22/2017

Friends and family of West Coast University graduates on May 21 packed the Bren Center at UC Irvine for the 2017 Commencement.

"It’s a rite of passage and it reflects so much work and time, so much effort and study, so much support," WCU Provost Jeb Egbert said. "To think of this as the gateway to their profession, it’s an amazing, iconic moment in these graduates’ lives."

Egbert said it was a treat for him to shake hands with the graduates during commencement exercises as they walked across the stage.

“They are the future of healthcare,” Egbert said. "We’ve given them an opportunity and they’ve taken full advantage of it — and now the sky’s the limit in terms of their future."
