WCU-Ontario Hosts 40 Girls Scouts for a Day of Nursing

Posted on 12/12/2018

West Coast University-Ontario's California Nursing Students’ Association chapter hosted 40 girl scouts all hoping to gain their Nursing Exploration Badge this December.

The girls work through five stations that each teach a different skill. The stations included the history of nursing, nursing skills where the girls learned how to take blood pressure and basic first aid wraps, a quiz to discover what kind of nurse should you be, a drawing table where the girls drew what being a nurse means, and hygiene.

The day ended with a pizza party for the troops to enjoy.
