WCU-Ontario Donates to Local Hospice Care Center

Posted on 12/11/2018

Every holiday season, West Coast University-Ontario chooses a local organization to give back to. This year the campus collected soft gloves, blankets, socks and reusable cups with plastic straws for Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care.

"When we realized this is an underserved population that often times gets overlooked during the holidays, we wanted to make a difference for them this year!" WCU-Ontario Executive Director Mitch Thomas said.

Seasons is a community-based organization with an ongoing mission to find creative solutions that add quality to end-of-life care. The gifts donated by the campus were distributed at the center's holiday caroling party.

"They were thrilled with how much we donated for them to give out," Thomas said.
