WCU-Miami Students Volunteer at Community Health Fair for Camillus House

Camillus House held a health fair for people in Miami Dade County on Aug. 18. West Coast University nursing students assisted with health assessments, ran the blood pressure station and provided teaching on diabetes and hypertension to the community.

Camillus House is a non-profit agency that provides a seamless, step-by-step process designed to bring persons from a life on the streets all the way to permanent housing. For volunteer opportunities with the Camillus House, visit the website at camillus.org.
