WCU-Dallas Braves the Rain for 2018 AHA Walk

Posted on 10/01/2018

On a rainy Saturday morning, more than 50 brave souls from the West Coast University-Dallas campus laced up their walking shoes to take part in the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk this September.

WCU-Dallas Assistant Registrar Denisha Barnett said the precipitation in downtown Dallas didn't deter the determined group of 54 participants.

"We raised over $1,000 for the American Heart Association, which is great," Barnett said. "We hope to have an even bigger turn out next year."
