Adam Krisan Named WCU Associate Provost, Online and Blended Learning

Dr. Adam Krisan has accepted the role of Associate Provost, Online and Blended Learning at West Coast University.

For more than six years at WCU, Krisan has served as the University Chair of General Education with accomplishments including a redesign of the General Education program in 2015 and most recently, the implementation of a GE persistence and remediation system, and the transition of GE curriculum to the blended delivery format. Prior to West Coast, Krisan held positions of progressive responsibility to include grant manager, associate director of academic affairs, and director of academic affairs at University of Phoenix.

Krisan's educational journey began at California State University, Northridge where he completed undergraduate and graduate degrees in exercise physiology. While working in the exercise physiology and biochemistry laboratories, he performed cutting edge research in the areas of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. Krisan has authored and co-authored multiple research articles in the area of exercise physiology.

In 2013, he completed a doctoral degree in health education at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences.

Outside of work, Krisan enjoys family gatherings, mountain biking, hiking and fishing with his son.
