Post-Master's Nurse Leader Certificate

Why?

A nurse leader, or nurse executive, is responsible for the administration and management of patient care services. This can be in a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, clinics and home health. Nurse leaders direct the planning and development of policies and procedures for healthcare organizations, while focusing on improving the quality of patient care.

Our Post-Master’s Nurse Leader program helps prepare you for a variety of new nursing opportunities, opening the door to more advanced leadership roles. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for nurses is expected to increase by 7% between 2019 and 2029, faster than average for all occupations.1

Graduates of the MSN-Nurse Leader program will have the foundation necessary to take on a wide range of positions, including:

  • Executive Director
  • Nursing Administrator
  • Chief Nursing Officer
  • Department Head
