WCU offers a pathway for nurses to advance their careers through the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.

The DNP program at West Coast University helps graduates to become leaders among the healthcare team. Students in this program are educated in inventive and evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes, interpret research, and apply the findings to improve healthcare, helping to provide the skills to work in a variety of healthcare roles after graduation.

Through our Career Service Department, we provide ongoing assistance with professional and career development through workshops and guidance for our students and graduates. We partner with industry professionals to support our students’ prospects for securing employment and obtaining professional success.

11000 experiential hours required to graduate from the DNP program. Students may transfer hours from their graduate coursework. Transferable hours will be determined by Program Director.
