International Education




Interns are responsible for the costs of participating in the program, offset by a WCU scholarship and an IFRC stipend.

West Coast University will provide:

  • $2,500 to offset the costs of international travel, room, and board

IFRC will provide:

  • Training and cultural support during the program
  • $600 stipend for each participant

Student Expenses:

Airfare (LAX – Panamá City, estimate):$545 +

Lodging, 6 weeks at Ciudad del Saber (shared vs. single room costs): $3,150/$3,780 +

Food, average for 6 weeks (estimate): $1,300 +

Spending Money (recommendation): $1,000 +

WCU Scholarship.$2,500 -

IFRC Stipend Support: $600 -

Student Pays: $2,895/$3,525
