WCU Dental Hygiene Students Place at Regional Competition

We would like to congratulate our dental hygiene students who on May 13, 2011 participated in the California Dental Hygienists’ Association (CDHA) and the California Dental Association (CDA) student table clinic competitions at the Annual Scientific Session and Convention. To prepare for the competition, students conducted thorough research, and created posters and pamphlets with guidance from research course director Aubree Chismark and table clinic faculty mentors.

Six table clinic groups submitted their application to the two competitions, and all six were accepted!

While just getting accepted is an honor on its own, we are especially pleased to announce that four of the six tables (listed below) placed at the competition.
