Transfer Credits

Here at West Coast University, we aim to make your transfer experience as easy and convenient as possible.

Transfer Credits

West Coast University's transfer credit site is intended as a guide for our prospective transfer students and is still a work in progress.

WCU Transfer Equivalency System (TES)
Courses Approved for Transfer, Effective June term, 2011

The information on our TES system is a guide to how classes at your current or former school may transfer to WCU, effective June term 2011. The fact that a course appears in the list is no guarantee that the course will transfer in your individual case. Our equivalency system is subject to frequent revision. The catalog dates for each institution reflect the latest revision date for transfer equivalencies from that school. We will be adding schools and additional courses to the list on a regular basis, particularly from those schools which have provided a large number of transfer students to WCU in the past.

Final determination of transfer credit acceptance is ultimately made by the Subject Matter Experts (SME), once a complete transfer evaluation packet is received. A transfer evaluation packet is not complete without official transcripts of all completed coursework.

To check your credits, scroll down to find the institutions where you have previously taken courses and click on the link for the school. From there, you will be able to check to see how West Coast University accepts the credit.

If you have additional questions, please visit your campus Office of the Registrar.

You can access the TES system here.

Students who request to transfer credits into the University from previously attended institutions must submit a sealed transcript from the originating institution.  Veterans are required to provide copies of transcripts for all prior postsecondary educational courses successfully completed so that they may be reviewed for potential transfer credits.  When a veteran is determined to have completed courses that may qualify for transfer credit, an official transcript will be requested unless already provided.

Deadlines for submittal of transcripts vary by program.

The transferability of credits you earn at West Coast University is at the complete discretion of an institution to which you may seek to transfer. Acceptance of the degree you earn in your educational program is also at the complete discretion of the institution to which you may seek to transfer. If the credits or degree that you earn at this institution are not accepted at the institution to which you seek to transfer, you may be required to repeat some or all of your coursework at that institution.  For this reason, you should make certain that your attendance at this institution will meet your educational goals. This may include contacting an institution to which you may seek to transfer after attending West Coast University to determine if your credits, degree, diploma or certificate will transfer.

West Coast University has no articulation agreements.
