WCU Dental Hygiene Cohort Earns 95 Percent Pass Rate

Posted on 04/27/2016

West Coast University’s Dental Hygiene cohort has a big reason to smile.

The first graduating class of 2016 earned a 95 percent first-time pass rate on the National Board Dental Hygiene Exam (NBDHE) and a 100 percent first-time pass rate on the Western Regional Examination Board (WREB) clinical exam. Our students will now apply for licensure and take their last high stakes exam, the law and ethics examination, to complete their licensing process.

“We are incredibly proud of our dental hygiene students for their outstanding efforts not only in their bachelor’s program but in their licensure exams,” Dental Hygiene Dean Michelle Hurlbutt said.
