Dedicated academic support for our dedicated students.
Even before you begin your classes, you will join us for an engaging New Student Orientation. We’ll help you define and develop a student support system within WCU that includes study process checklists, faculty interface, the evaluation and feedback process, administrative and materials support, and the real-world know-how necessary for professional nursing students.
Our knowledgeable staff will help you identify good study habits and share the secrets of negotiating ‘degree time’ with your family, friends, and employers. They will also tell you “Who is Who” on campus—what our dedicated staff members do and which student services they provide.
And it’s not just one day of support. We understand that circumstances change and we want you to be able to dedicate the time and energy necessary for your education. Come talk to us. We will make every effort possible to help you identify the barriers to your educational goals so you may reduce and eliminate them. Many students have made these ‘barrier busting’ skills an ongoing part of their successful professional lives.
From your first day through your last course.
Academic support is a partnership at WCU—your success is our success. With your commitment and our knowledge, the transition to your perfect career will be as quick and direct as possible.
