In the summer of 2009, the West Coast University Board of Trustees made the decision to pursue regional accreditation through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). As part of that pursuit, the University was asked to engage in a comprehensive, introspective, reflective Self Study. This self-analysis was conducted throughout the latter part of 2010 and first half of 2011, and within the context of the four overarching standards and 42 criteria for review that WASC holds as essentials of quality institutions of higher education.
The Self Study was submitted to WASC in June of 2011. To learn of West Coast University's current accreditation status, please click here.
